Triple Screw Extruder
Kailida's KSE series co-rotating parallel triple screw extruder is specially designed for better dispersion and more output.
The triple screw extruder has three meshing zones, which is equivalent to three pairs of twin screws acting at the same time. The shearing times of the material in it are twice as high as that of the twin screw extruder. which also means it has better distributive and dispersive mixing and dispersive mixing.
Excellent Distributive And Dispersive Mixing
The KSE series co-rotating parallel triple screw extruder compared with single screw extruder and twin screw extruder, triple screw extruder has better splitting effect and more times of shearing, so it has better distributive mixing and dispersive mixing. When producing high-concentration PE carbon black masterbatch, due to the high fineness of carbon black particles and poor compatibility with the carrier resin during the mixing and granulation process, agglomeration will occur due to the small particle size, making the carbon black particles uneven dispersion in the resin will affect the quality.
More Shearing Times And Better Mixing Effect
The triple screw extruder has three meshing zones, which is equivalent to three pairs of twin screws acting at the same time. The shearing times of the material in it are twice as high as that of the twin screw. Under the same screw L/D, the mixing effect is better than that of the twin screw 3 times, each component can be easily homogenized and granulated, the material can fully exchange and flow on multiple levels of space, to achieve a good plasticizing and dispersing effect, and can achieve a high filling ratio of 55%, and the feeding and transportation are also very stable.
Higher Efficiency, More Energy Saving
Compared with the twin screw extruder, the triple screw extruder plasticizes faster, the mixing effect is better, the material stays at high temperature for a shorter time, and saves energy and electricity (30%~40%).
